Quick Slap-Up: E. Owen Moss's Umbrella

First go at rendering this SketchUp model in Cheetah. Really pleased with how it's shaping up...

It's a detail of a glass canopy on an arts centre in Culver city, California, by architect Eric Owen Moss.

See, Martin? All my dumb questions about .3ds import paid off in the end;)

BUT: can you see the spots in the glass canopy? It's that old calculation error again...

Yes, I can see them. But in this case they even look nice. Which should be no excuse of course.

I put a Render tag on the glass -- Visible in Radiosity OFF, Receive Radiosity ON

if this is a quick slap-up I would love to see something that you put some decent effort into it... :D:D

I have no idea how on earth you did this in SU... beyond my abilities...

VERY COOL... and a great cropping as well...
