Bending Error?

I think I'm seeing strange behavior while trying to use the Bend modifier. Cheetah3D v7.4.2. I thought I knew how this worked, but I could be overlooking something stupid. I have rebooted the Mac.

You´ ll need tor rotate the Bend-modifier 90° along the "B" (Bank) axis and try again.

Ah. I see. Thanks. I need to remember to check which way the cage bends before I scale it disproportionately.
