Playing around :) (character is fan-art based on "de ridder" comics from Frodo De Decker https://www.facebook.com/deriddercomic/)

I chose this one since it seemed simple and I couldn't get lost in animating facial expressions. I tried to controll the character with just a few splines, which seems to work well...
I hope to show some animations soon... its quite challenging, but fun!

a first very rough walk test... (hands need animation and secondary animation in the spurs etc.)
:) Great learning experience...

This is a very nice walk cycle. What I particularly like is that even the belly wobbles. That makes this figure, which is actually very rigid, lively and personable.

Thanks flip c:
I have this vid downloaded and will study it.

Maybe this helps ;)

just a note: this is just my current method that seems to work for me... there are numerous ways to do animation and my methods evolve all the time... So far I didn't yet make any long too decent animations, so let's see, but I'm hopefull this is a good start for me. :)

I made a lot of use of the Pose Uttilities script from PodPerson: https://www.cheetah3d.com/forum/index.php?threads/5358/:)
