Solid Black patches at transparency limit

In the attached render, Falcon shows solid black patches if too many transparent material polygons are overlapped.
This is a simplified file representing the real model where the problem arises. I am using the Falcon renderer, and have tried increasing the Samples, Total Bounces and Transparency Bounces.

C3d 7.3.3 on Mojave 10.14.5 on 2018 MBP.

Any suggestions welcome.

You need more "Total bounces" at the "Ray Depth" property section of Falcon.
The default setting is 10. You have an array of 10 objects but due the overlapping (if all in a row you need to set to 20) you need at least 13 bounces.
