Inserting different backgrounds
This thread was originally posted by gazzabecks. I just moved it to this forum
How does one, and I'm sure it's simple but it doesn't look like when insert the image map over the globe...but..is their a way to insert a different background..my animaton, once I actually purchase the program has to do a number of things, which I will most likely need to export it to another program, but...first I need a spinning earth, it's taken me two weeks now just to SEE the earth in the render space....however, I've made the camera active (i've seen the red box appear around the camera icon and it appears...and I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure it says in the tutorial that the camera will turn red or have a red line around when working, well,it's never worked for me..or shown the earth rotating..but in the final anaylsis, I need the earth rotating, and it to 'blend" into the soccer ball, and then the good space background, assuming I can put one in for the globe, a need to blend into a picture I have (a real one) of a River Plate match vs. Boca Jr. in el stadio buenos aires river plate....it's going to be SO COOL, and I'll bring into flash with quicktime, or, bring into after effects, THEN flash with quick time or however. I was going to get Swift, but the damn thing is now 289USD, and I've used it before and it's OKAY, but I've NEVER seen a better and more user friendly GUI than on Cheetah, able to do so many wonderful things.
